The municipality of Šentilj stretches from Apače in the east to the foothills of the Panonic Lowland. On its northern side, it borders to Austria with seventeen kilometres. And in the south and east, through the Slovenian Hills to the municipalities of St. Ana, St. Jurij, Pesnica, and Kungota.
Šentilj offers you a quick access to the highway. In just a few minutes, you can cross the border-crossing Šentilj.
Very close-by, in the centre of Šentilj, there is a fitness centre in nature, in the Oskar Mezgec sports park, which is intended mainly to spend one's free time outside in nature rather than in front of a television and computers.
There is also a volleyball and basketball court next to the playground. For the youngest, there is a wooden play area and a sandbox. This will provide you with the freedom to sit and enjoy the sun and a good drink.
When you start living in Sentilj, you will not be able to ignore all the marvellous paths. Explore the surrounding plains via the Šentiljska, Border Panoramic and Celtic trails.
The latter is particularly interesting because of the mounds found on both sides of the border and the prehistoric settlement of Gradišče, which extends over the Mura River. It is no coincidence that strong energy radiation was also found here, as the old peoples were closely associated with nature and the energy in it.
In the vicinity, you will also find a natural bathing area in Cmurek.
